Quality Control

measured, not assumed

The room where parts earn their paperwork. A temperature controlled metrology lab anchored by a ZEISS SPECTRUM bridge CMM delivers aerospace and medical grade quality control, documented to AS9100D, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, for our parts and for anyone else’s.

01 Why it matters no guesswork
  • Aerospace expects objective evidence: first article inspection per AS9102 and full dimensional data against the model, under AS9100D.
  • Medical carries patient risk: device history records, UDI verification and ISO 13485 process discipline for implants and instruments.
  • GD&T, evaluated properly: datums, true position and profile per ASME Y14.5, not approximations.
  • Scanning, not just touch points: continuous contact scanning captures form and fit, not only size.
  • Catch drift early: in-process checks between operations, not just a final gate.
  • Third-party parts accepted: we inspect what others make, too.
02 What you receive the paperwork
  • FAI reports per AS9102 (Forms 1 to 3) for new part numbers and process changes.
  • Dimensional inspection reports: CMM data, ballooned drawings, pass or fail per characteristic.
  • PPAP packs for production programmes.
  • Certificates of conformance with material certs, heat-treat charts and finishing records.
  • Archived CMM programs: repeat orders measure the same way, every time.

ZEISS SPECTRUM

verity 9/18/6 · rds · vast xxt

One machine anchors the lab: a ZEISS SPECTRUM bridge CMM in the verity 9/18/6 compact configuration, running ZEISS CALYPSO, with the RDS articulating head and VAST XXT scanning sensor. Big enough to swallow a 1.8 metre part, fine enough to argue in microns.
